ABOUT US
Whole Word of Faith (WWOF) is a non-denominational church which believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. We believe God has called and anointed us to emphasize the fullness of the Gospel through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We are also a self-governing entity, with a pastor, board of directors and elders often overseeing the Church’s organization and structure. We believe the church is the place to assemble for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction in the Word of God and the work of the ministry. We also believe it is given unto us to exercise the gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament to obtain the Christian goal, “Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Pastor Ken Merriman (WWOF)
Our History
The history of Whole Word of Faith Church commences with the story of Jesus, followed by the call on Pastor Ken Merriman’s life to become a pastor. With the Articles of Incorporation, this calling materialized on August 26, 2022, and the subsequent filing for 501c3 status on October 31, 2022. Broadcasting on Facebook and YouTube began on November 13, 2022, and a Meet and Greet was hosted on February 11, 2023, coinciding with the birthday of the First Lady, Rosa Merriman
The inaugural church service took place on February 18, 2023, at the Seven Oaks Recreation Center in Columbia, SC, where Whole Word of Faith continues to meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. The Board of Directors comprises Pastor Kenneth R. Merriman, Morris J. Miller, Steven Austin, and Mrs. Evita Singleton as the Financial Secretary.
Whole Word of Faith, a faith-based church, is committed to teaching the entire Bible in accordance with is principles. The Church emphasizes prayer, exhortation, and love, aligning with the commandment to love one another, as God has demonstrated his love to us. Foundational scriptures guiding the Church include:
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Acts 20:27 - For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
MISSION STATEMENT
To reach the lost and make disciples in a multigenerational, multicultural and multiethnic society by teaching and preaching of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that their sins have been forgiven. And to let them know who they are through His sacrificial death on the cross.
VISION STATEMENT
To reach the lost and make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Creating a community of believers. Utilizing biblical principles, preaching and teaching as we are directed by the Holy Ghost.
